The delay in the launch of the Ax-4 mission will not affect the implementation of planned scientific experiments, assured Monika Banaszek-Cymerman from the Polish Space Agency (POLSA). As she emphasized, possible postponements were taken into account already at the planning stage.
"Delays are a certain nature of space missions. They are taken into account by the entire team preparing the mission. It was ongoing, very intensive work of Polish entities, Polish teams designing experiments with the European Space Agency, so that all experiments were prepared sufficiently in advance and with the appropriate time of readiness for the mission launch," assured Monika Banaszek-Cymerman from POLSA in an interview with PAP.
She noted that full control over research materials, including biological samples, was guaranteed.

She added that all experiments are prepared with different mission scenarios in mind. And the process of preparing for different scenarios is based on the extensive experience of both the European Space Agency and other mission partners.
"The mission shifts have not affected our experiments in any way. The experiments will therefore be carried out," she stressed.
As she noted, the mission is managed throughout its duration. "Let's wait for the ship to dock. We believe that each of the planned experiments will be performed," she concluded.
Asked if there were any experiments that would be treated as a priority, she said that each experiment would have an appropriately secured time for its execution. (PAP)
