A jeweler from Łódź is making headlines worldwide. He created Pokémon-inspired jewelry.

Jeweler Philip Gefaell from Łódź presented a futuristic pendant referring to the cult TV series "Pokémon" and... delighted the world.
Pokémon first appeared in 1996, and they've been popular ever since. We've had games , anime series , feature films , toys , and the famous Pokémon Trading Card Game.
The colorful creatures, with Pikachu at the forefront, are still fashionable, but today they're attracting the attention not only of young people but also of adults raised on the series. A major Pokémon-Lego collaboration has been announced for this year. The mere thought of it has millennials rubbing their hands together. But there's also something for fans of something more classic.

Luxury jewelry? Why not?
Pokémon from Łódź - pendant from the Philip Gefaell collectionIt's all thanks to the jeweler Philip Gefaella from Łódź , who presented his new, quite surprising project online.
This futuristic pendant is inspired by Poké Balls . Crafted from 18k white gold, it features circuit board engravings and sculptural details inspired by the work of Daniel Arsham .

The creator used natural VVS clarity diamonds and rare green demantoid garnets .
Let's not forget that the pendant represents a Pokéball , which means it can't be empty. And, of course, upon opening it, we discover a miniature, hand-carved Sceptile figurine.

The price of this unique item is approximately $25,000 (approximately 100,000 złoty). We have a feeling it will go to a true fan of the series about the adventures of 10-year-old Ash Ketchum from Alabastia .

As we read on Philip Gefaell's website, as a child, he traveled extensively with his family throughout Europe , where he had the opportunity to visit palaces, museums, and exhibitions showcasing jewelry and timeless works of art. Music was also a significant inspiration in his jewelry career.

Today, Gefaell specializes in creating custom jewelry tailored to the personality and style of its clients. The jeweler boasts of working with the finest gemstone suppliers, collaborating with brands such as Cartier , Van Cleef & Arpels , and Bulgari.
Did you ever think that fairy tale characters would become inspiration for jewelry and art? Wonderful times!
