SW Research, commissioned by Wprost, asked Polish women and men which minister in Donald Tusk's government they rated the worst. The head of the Ministry of Health was indicated by 6.3 percent of respondents.
In the latest survey, conducted by SW Research on behalf of "Wprost", Polish people were asked to indicate the minister they assessed the worst.
The Minister of Education Barbara Nowacka received the most votes (8.9%), and the ex aequo second place went to the Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar and the Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna (6.3% each) . Interestingly, as many as 40.7% of respondents were unable to answer this question.
Izabela Leszczyna received the most negative opinions from:
- men (6.4%),
- respondents aged 25-34 (6.6%),
- with secondary education (6.9%),
- with an income of up to PLN 3,000 net (7.3%)
- and from cities of 20-99 thousand (10.3%).
The top five also included Paulina Hennig-Kloska , Minister of Climate and Environment (5.5%) and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Minister of National Defence (4.1%).
- The reconstruction and the resulting personnel changes are not an indication of "this one is bad" or "that one didn't work out". This will be the effect of the new government structure agreed together with the coalition partners, which is to provide a chance for momentum and efficiency of action - said Donald Tusk at one of the press conferences.
At the beginning of June, Health Minister Izabela Leszczyna assured that she did not expect to be dismissed from her position as part of the government reconstruction announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
- I think that if he intended to dismiss me, he would have given me some kind of signal. I don't hear any such signals - she said on TVN24.
On June 5, the head of the Ministry of Health was asked on Polsat News whether she would resign if the hospital reform bill that her ministry is preparing is not introduced. "If we can't do anything about the hospitals, then definitely yes. But I have no such plans," she said.
Meanwhile, the bill on the modernization of hospitals is met with resistance, especially from the Left, which raises reservations about the mechanisms for merging facilities, the automatic closure of departments and the insufficient debt relief system.
