It's part of the fruit peel nail trend, which recreates the look of a fruit bowl in a hyper-realistic way. Popular patterns so far have included strawberries, grapes, or peaches.
This is how the look worksIn keeping with the fall spirit, everyone is opting for Apple Skin nails, which reflect the realistic look of a bright red apple skin. While the design may seem complicated at first, it's actually easy to recreate at home. A striped pattern is applied over a light green-yellow base coat and then blended. Then, a red ombré look is applied, starting at the tip of the nail. To complete the hyper-realistic look, white dots are added and blended to replicate the small light spots on a real apple skin.
