A fire broke out in an apartment in Izmir and reduced the house to ashes.
A fire broke out for an unknown reason in the flat of Abdullah Ertuğrul, a tenant living on the second floor of a two-storey building in the Köyiçi Neighbourhood of the Çiğli district of İzmir .
Noticing the fire, Ertuğrul, his wife, and child evacuated the house. Following a neighbor's alert, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The house was destroyed by the fire, which was extinguished by firefighters. A car parked in front of the building was damaged by the flames.
Firefighters' investigation concluded that the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
