The world's best tourism village is from Türkiye

In the evaluations carried out as part of the "Best Tourism Villages" program organized annually by UNWTO, Barbaros Village stood out with its sustainable tourism practices, respect for the environment and cultural heritage, support for local production, and examples of social solidarity.

This title, awarded by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, increases the village's international recognition and is important in demonstrating an exemplary understanding of tourism based on sustainable and local values, making Barbaros one of the few villages in Türkiye to receive this award.
