American chipmaker spins off its robotics division into a new company

American technology company Intel Corp. intends to spin off its artificial intelligence robotics business into a new company, RealSense.

The main shareholder of the new entity will be the venture capital fund Intel Capital, which has raised USD 50 million on the market for the development of new projects.

We will allocate funds for the development of new product lines, we see demand and the need to support robot manufacturers, which is why it was important to obtain external capital for this purpose - says Nada Orbach, CEO of RealSense.

RealSense already creates robotic tools and technologies that support autonomous robot manufacturers, including Eyesynth and Unitree Robotics.

The company will now focus on providing the industry with more solutions that ensure security against cyberattacks and the ability to modify the use of new technologies.

RealSense has offices in the United States, China and Israel.
