The last weekend of the Gaúchos Festival, in Gramado, will be marked by several shows

Gramado, the state's main tourist destination, has been transformed into a grand stage for gaucho traditions since the beginning of the month with the second edition of the Festival Gaúchos. The event, promoted by the RSNASCE Institute, enters its final week and continues with regional music shows, dance, a picket, a chimarrão circle, a gastronomic circuit, themed decorations, exhibitions, and attractions dedicated to children.

Luiza Barbosa, João de Almeida Neto and Pepeu Gonçalves perform free shows on Rua Coberta

Until the end of the event, the Rua Coberta stage will host music and dance artists for moments of fellowship and culture. Young singer and The Voice Kids breakout Luiza Barbosa will perform at 7:30 pm on Friday. On Saturday (27), also at 7:30 pm, João de Almeida Neto will perform a show packed with classics from the California Native Song Festival, the second tribute to California. On the last day of the event (28), at 4 pm, it will be Pepeu Gonçalves' turn to take the stage. All performances are free.

Latest editions of Baile do Borges

An attraction that has been attracting attention and enchanting the public in Gramado is the Baile do Borges, which transforms Borges de Medeiros Avenue into a grand gaucho ball, with peões and prendas performing traditional dances and inviting spectators to join in at the end. The last performances take place on Saturday and Sunday (27th and 28th), always at 11 am and 4 pm, on the stretch of avenue in front of Rua Coberta and the Palácio dos Festivais.

Cordeiro continues to stand out in Piquete

Lamb meat continues to be a highlight at Piquete do Lago Joaquina Rita Bier, where the Cordeiraço takes place. Curated by Destemperados, the activity welcomes chef Felipe Leonardo, from Soleil Casa Perini, on Saturday (27), and the duo Carlos Siedekum, from MLBK, and Fabiano Padilha from DiPietro, on Sunday (28), always from 12 pm to 3 pm. At the end, the guest participates in the Churras Chat, where he reveals some preparation tips to the audience, who can also taste the dish.

The Cozinha Gaúcha Award is open to the public for voting.

The public voting stage began last Friday (19) in the first edition of the Gaucho Cuisine Award, held by the Festival Gaúchos in partnership with Pepsi . Gastronomic establishments from eight cities - Gramado, Canela, Nova Petrópolis, São Francisco de Paula, Caxias do Sul, Bento Gonçalves, Garibaldi and Cambará do Sul - compete in ten award categories (see list below) .

To vote, you must access the official Prêmio Cozinha Gaúcha profile on Instagram @premiocozinhagaucha. Each like, comment, and repost on the establishment's post counts as one vote. The awards ceremony will be on Sunday (28), at 7:30 pm, on the Rua Coberta stage.
