American comic book author Frank Miller and Portuguese Daniel Henriques will be at the Portuguese entertainment convention Comic Con in Santa Maria da Feira (Aveiro) in April 2026, the organization revealed today.

The next edition of the Portuguese Comic Con is scheduled from April 23 to 26, at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, although the organization had announced that this pop culture convention would be in March 2026, at Exponor, in Matosinhos (Porto).

Without providing further details, the organizers revealed on September 4 that the 11th edition of Comic-Con in Santa Maria da Feira would mark the beginning of "a strategic partnership for the next three editions." Tickets already purchased for Comic-Con at Exponor in Matosinhos are valid for the new date and location.

One of the first guests announced today for Comic Con 2026 is 68-year-old American author Frank Miller, considered one of the most influential names in international comics, particularly in the universe of the characters Daredevil and Batman or with the series "Sin City".

According to the organization, Frank Miller is "the master who defined the tone of modern comics" and in Portugal he will participate in conversations about "his creative process and the revolution of the industry" and "moments of direct interaction with the public", such as sessions and autographs.

Also in Santa Maria da Feira will be Daniel Henriques, the Portuguese artist who has been working on comics for over a decade with North American publishers, including Marvel, Image, Dark Horse and DC Comics.

Among others, he has worked for the following titles: Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, King Spawn, Aquaman, Justice League, Green Arrow, Mortal Kombat X, Batman Arkham Knight, SuperGirl, Detective Comics and Shadow War Alpha.
