The Feliks Nowowiejski Philharmonic in Olsztyn is one of the most important places on the map of Warmia and Mazury .

The jubilee, 80th artistic season starting next year is a good opportunity for a grand celebration. A great gift for both the audience and the musicians themselves will be the modern organs , which will soon be placed in the Philharmonic's headquarters.

Organs for 8 million zlotys

According to the TKO portal, it is to be one of the most advanced instruments of this type in Poland . The 50-voice organ will also have a stationary and movable playing table , which will increase flexibility.

The price of such an instrument may be surprising. The organ costs about 8 million zlotys.

The majority of this amount will be transferred to the institution by the Voivodeship Government . It was previously reported that the Philharmonic will also receive almost PLN 1.5 million from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for this purpose.

The high-class instrument will be built by European specialists , who will be selected by tender. The organ is to be ready in the second half of 2027.

- You don't buy an organ in a store, each instrument is designed and made for a specific interior and it takes at least three years - said the director of the philharmonic, Janusz Ciepliński , during a recent press conference.

The Philharmonic management is convinced that the new instrument will attract audiences from all over the continent to Olsztyn , among others thanks to the possibility of organizing prestigious events related to organ music .
