Mondo Duplantis in Poland. The Swedish Gladiator, besides victory, was hoping for one more thing – CHEESECAKE

Armand Duplantis will have particularly fond memories of his August stay in Poland. The pole vault king undoubtedly enjoyed Polish food, specifically Silesian doughnuts.
Last weekend, Polish fans were able to watch the world's best athletes compete in Silesia . A galaxy of stars from the queen of sports appeared at the enormous stadium in Chorzów .
The "Cauldron of Witches" was swarming with Olympic medalists, all on the occasion of the next Silesia Memorial of Kamila Skolimowska, which this year had the rank of the Diamond League.
The country on the Vistula River was visited by, among others, the phenomenal sprinter Noah Lyles, the outstanding Norwegian runner Karsten Warholm, the sensational Dutch sprinter Femke Bol, and the award-winning hurdler Grant Holloway.
Armand Duplantis won the title in Chorzów and ate a Polish doughnutThe eyes of all sports enthusiasts, however, were primarily on Armand Duplantis. A few days before his departure for Poland, the Swede proved he was still in excellent form. The outstanding pole vaulter broke his own world record in Budapest, clearing the bar at a height of 6.29 meters. It's no wonder, then, that the Polish national team eagerly awaited the men's pole vault competition, eager to witness the next live performance of the star from the Land of the Three Crowns.
"Mondo", as expected, was unrivaled , but this time his height of 6.10 m was enough to win.
This is the fourth time in a row that Duplantis has been able to celebrate his victory at the Chorzów meet. The Scandinavian hero is very fond of our country, and after his last visit, he's even more delighted. The pole vault champion really enjoyed the stuffed doughnuts prepared by the organizers. On Saturday evening, the Swede decided to celebrate his victory in a particularly "sweet" way, letting everyone know he was craving another Polish dish. The athlete requested cheesecake for dinner, which he also enjoyed.
After his performance in Chorzów, Duplantis has his next big goal ahead of him: the September championships in Tokyo. Will the Swede once again push the boundaries of human imagination? Nothing is impossible for this gladiator!
