A lost document is not the end of the journey. Revolution at two airports in Poland

Anyone who travels a lot knows that sometimes remembering all the necessary things related to the trip can be a challenge. We have to take care of the right dimensions of luggage, secure the house or take all the required documents and boarding pass. Sometimes we forget something, and the worst is when we don't have a passport when we want to get to a country where it is required, e.g. Great Britain. Now there is a way to do this at other Polish airports. There are places where you can quickly get a new temporary document.
Express passports at more airportsYou arrived at the airport without a passport, but you don't have time to get it back home? From now on, you won't have to worry at the airports in Wrocław and Poznań. Just use the new MSWiA fast passport points. These have been known to Poles for a long time. However, until now, we could only find them in Warsaw , Kraków, Katowice and Gdańsk, where a total of over 34 thousand documents have already been issued.
As the aforementioned convenience is very popular, now Poznań and Wrocław join the aforementioned group of cities, and their airports are becoming even more friendly to tourists. In Wrocław, the new point has been operating since April 28 and is located in the passenger terminal, in the public area, near the airport information desk. There, we will be served by employees of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Office.
The same awaits us at the Poznań-Ławica airport. Here, the passport point is located on the departures level, in the public area, on the ground floor of the airport. It is open from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On May 2, 2025, it will be exceptionally closed.
Want to get a passport at the airport? This is worth knowingAny tourist who finds themselves in a difficult situation and wants to obtain a document quickly must have a valid plane ticket and some other ID document. The photo for the new passport is taken on the spot. The validity period of the temporary passport is adjusted individually to the situation – it can be from 1 day to a maximum of 365 days.
The option of issuing a quick passport can be used when we have lost our previous document, forgotten to take it from home or we find out that our current one has expired. It is worth remembering that in the case of issuing such a document for a child, the consent of both parents is necessary. The fee for issuing a temporary passport is PLN 30 and can only be paid using a payment card.
