Oasis fans may feel disappointed. The band will return, unfortunately with one but

The return of the Gallagher brothers to the stage as Oasis is one of the biggest music events of the summer. Noel and Liam haven't toured together since 2009, when they parted ways in acrimonious circumstances. Now fans will finally get to hear Oasis live once again. But they shouldn't expect any new songs.
It was Liam Gallagher who raised fans' hopes for new music by declaring that material for a new Oasis album was ready. However, he later insisted that the comment was a joke. This was confirmed by the band's manager, Alec McKinlay.
" There will be no more shows after this tour , which Noel has made clear in interviews. This will be a chance for those who have never heard Oasis live to catch up. There are no plans to play any new songs ," McKinlay told Music Week.
Liam and Noel Gallagher will return to the stage together on July 4 , when Oasis are scheduled to play their first show of the year in Cardiff. There will be 41 shows in total , with Oasis playing in Manchester, London, Toronto, Chicago, Tokyo, Sydney and Buenos Aires. They will be supported by Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage The Elephant and Ball Park Music.
In the aforementioned interview, McKinlay also revealed how they managed to keep Oasis' return to the stage a secret until the last minute.
"The group of people who knew about it was very limited. Obviously we had been planning it for a while, but when we announced the tour, it was a huge unknown. We didn't expect the reaction we got. It was phenomenal. People were happy to finally hear some good news in the face of all the nonsense going on in the world right now," he says.
10 million fans from 158 countries lined up in a virtual queue for concert tickets.
