This selection is aligned with the objectives of Turespaña's Strategic Marketing Plan, which includes promoting nature and inland destinations . Furthermore, the Aragonese city's bid is a commitment to sustainability , including calculating the event's carbon footprint and planting a "6th Turespaña Convention Forest." The official presentation of Zaragoza as the host city will take place during the closing ceremony of the 5th Turespaña Convention in 2025 in Cáceres.
Turespaña ConventionThe Turespaña Convention is an annual event conceived as a channel and forum for the exchange of information and for joint reflection within the Spanish tourism sector regarding the strategic objectives of this agency of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, with the aim of sharing market intelligence and aligning international tourism marketing planning with the various Spanish tourist destinations, as well as with the corporate tourism sector.
