Citizen Income 2025: Payments begin for these beneficiaries

The Citizen Income program confirmed the start of payments for the May 2025 cycle. In this communication, they indicated the date on which beneficiaries who receive payments should come and collect their incentive. When is it their turn to collect?

"Good news everyone! #RentaCiudadana and #DevoluciónIVA payments begin tomorrow, May 7, for bank-affiliated beneficiaries, and on May 13 for those receiving them by bank transfer," reads the message, which can be viewed on their digital channel.

Remember that in order to expedite this process, the Department of Social Prosperity authorities will be contacting you via text message , in which they will provide you with more details about the withdrawal of the subsidy.

How do you know if you are eligible for a subsidy in Colombia?

If you want to know if your home is part of any of the social programs offered by the National Government, you will have to follow the following instructions:

1- Go to the link: https://rentaciudadana.prosperidadsocial.gov.co/

2- Then you must tap on the link that says "Check here if your household is a beneficiary." 3- You will immediately be asked to select your document type and also to enter your ID number.
