2025 Trends: Travelers Prioritize Well-being, AI Personalization, and Sustainability

Travel planning motivations and methods are changing significantly by 2025, according to recent analyses and surveys. Health and wellness-focused tourism is booming, evidenced by the high interest (79% among Mexican travelers) in "longevity retreats."
Personalization is key, and Artificial Intelligence is becoming a fundamental tool to achieve it: 86% of Mexicans will use it to create itineraries and discover authentic experiences, moving away from mass recommendations. Sustainability is also gaining importance, with travelers and companies promoting more responsible practices.
There's a trend toward exploring lesser-known destinations and seeking deeper cultural immersion by participating in local activities. Interestingly, vintage travel and the idea of buying clothes locally (76% of interest in Mexico), as well as the growing appeal of airports with unique facilities, add new dimensions to the tourist experience.
These changes reflect a desire for more meaningful travel, tailored to the individual and aligned with personal values and well-being.
