The Colombian Institute for Educational Evaluation (ICFES) decided to suspend the Saber 11 tests in several municipalities across Colombia due to force majeure that made it impossible to administer these exams normally. What did the agency say about this?
In a statement published on its website, the ICFES confirmed to the public the suspension of the exams scheduled for Sunday, August 10 , due to the protests that took place in the department of Boyacá. These protests prevented the reception of test materials (booklets and answer sheets), an issue that evidently affected a large group of students in 27 localities who were scheduled to take the exam. "For the ICFES, it is a priority to guarantee the safety of those summoned and to offer guarantees for the exams to be conducted normally. This decision will not affect the publication of the results scheduled for Friday, October 10," the agency stated.
