Chiapas author wins Indigenous Literature Prize

Of 18 proposals received from Peru, Mexico, and Ecuador, the jury for the 2025 Indigenous Literature Prize of the Americas (PLIA) decided to award the prize to the work "Absurd Men" (Sokem Viniketik), written in the Tzotzil language by Chiapas author María Victoria Díaz Ruiz.
