Cayetano Rivera falls off the posters in Ciudad Real and Málaga, and his farewell season falls apart.

Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez has announced on social media that he is withdrawing from the Ciudad Real and Málaga fairs, and his farewell season is rapidly falling apart.
"After testing myself on the field , I regret to announce that I am not yet physically ready to face my upcoming commitments in Ciudad Real and Málaga," he says on his X account.
Cayetano did not appear at the last Santiago de Santander bullfighting fair after injuring himself in the arena while fighting a young bull, as he also reported on social media. His farewell year in the bullring has become extremely complicated since the incident at McDonald's in Madrid. With no major commitments on the horizon, and with the Corrida Goyesca de Ronda suspended due to construction work on the bicentennial bullring, which would have been the ideal setting for his farewell, his farewell season is no longer sustainable.
" My respect for my profession and the public compels me to be honest and responsible with reality above the excitement I feel about stepping into the ring again. Thank you for your understanding and trust," concludes Cayetano's brief statement on X.
