Nintendo Takes Switch 2 on Tour of Italian Shopping Malls

The new generation of Nintendo consoles arrives directly in Italian shopping malls. Starting June 20 and for six consecutive weekends, the Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour will allow the public to test for free the features of the console launched on June 5, which has already exceeded 3.5 million units sold in the first four days since its debut.
The tour will visit the country's main shopping malls, offering an interactive experience designed to allow visitors to discover the platform's new hardware and software. Visitors will be able to try Mario Kart World , the new chapter in Nintendo's racing saga set in a freely explorable region, as well as try out versions optimised for Switch 2 of top titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
Among the attractions of the tour is also the Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, a virtual exhibition set up inside the exhibition area that illustrates the main innovations introduced by the console, with sections dedicated to quizzes, insights and timed challenges. During some selected stops, influencers and content creators among the most followed on the Italian scene will also be present, available for meet & greet sessions with the public. Among the first confirmed names are Francesco “Cydonia” Cilurzo (at the Il Centro shopping center in Arese, MI) and Jessica “MissHatred” Armanetti (at the Grandemilia center in Modena), both expected on Saturday 22 June from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Each event will also offer the opportunity to receive exclusive gadgets and share the experience with friends and family. The initiative is part of a widespread promotion strategy to consolidate the presence of the new console in the Italian market, in a period in which interest in Nintendo news remains high.
