Until August 31, the Lake Como Landscape Museum at Via Statale 4835 in Tremezzina hosts the exhibition " In Praise of the Lake . A Journey to Rediscover Lario in the Bordoli Crivelli Visconti Collection ." A selection of prints by Italian and international artists, this exhibition explores the lake's landscape through valuable period images. Giorgio Bordoli Crivelli Visconti, a renowned scholar of history, iconography, and literature, collected a vast repertoire of prints of Lario from the 16th to the 19th centuries, eventually owning over eight hundred pieces. Beginning in the city of Como, where the most significant prints are on display, the journey continues over a period of four centuries, following the route taken by the historian Paolo Giovio, who circumnavigated the lake in six days, accompanied by his friend Niccolò Boldoni, a doctor from Bellano. On the last day of opening, at 4 p.m., the third guided tour, included in the admission ticket, will be held with curator Francesco Trippini. Reservations recommended.
