Ferragosto on the lakeside, respecting wildlife: silent fireworks

A different kind of Ferragosto in Dervio (Lecco), with silent fireworks that shine in the darkness but make no noise so as not to frighten either wild or domestic animals. This event, which winds along kilometers of lakeside, has now become a tradition for thousands of spectators.

It will be a day-long party, from morning until night, with a variety of shows and attractions : from baby dance to foam party, from the exhibition of vintage cars to sailing, canoeing, surfing and SUP trips, up to the parade of the Lucie, the typical Larian boats decorated with lights, from Santa Cecilia to Foppa.

And more: the fire-eaters and fire dancers show, the stalls, the fair. Finally, the evening's climax is a fireworks display of dancing fireworks with musical choreography that will light up the bay of the old port.

The Ferragosto Diverso project began a few years ago and has grown over time. Last year, it attracted eight thousand spectators. And this year, the offerings are even richer, thanks to the food village, open all day. In short, something unique, capable of satisfying the tastes of all age groups.
