Carlo Acutis, the young Milanese who died at just 15 years old and was beatified in 2020 , will be canonized in Assisi on September 7, 2025. The announcement comes from the Diocese of Assisi-Nocera Umbra-Gualdo Tadino, which announced the new date for the ceremony , initially scheduled for April 27 , during the Jubilee of Adolescents, and then suspended due to the death of Pope Francis. Who was Carlo Acutis?

Carlo Acutis was born in London in 1991 to an Italian family and grew up in Milan. From an early age, he displayed profound devotion and extraordinary spiritual sensitivity.
