Gusto Italia arrives in the seaside village of Acciaroli: from August 21st to 31st at the tourist port

The charming tourist port of the seaside village of Acciaroli will be the setting for the next stop on Gusto Italia. From Thursday, August 21st, to Sunday, August 31st , the Cilento region , awarded the Blue Flag and Green Flag , will once again showcase traditional artisanal products and quality Italian agri-food products.
The traveling fair of Italian specialties and artisan traditions will, as always, be free to enter . From 5:00 PM to midnight, you can stroll among the stands and enjoy a series of side activities that will enhance the final event of August.
The event is organized and promoted by the Italia Eventi Association , sponsored by the municipality of Pollica , the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park , the Chamber of Commerce of Salerno and the UNOE National Union of Event Organizers.
" Acciaroli is a symbolic village for the entire Cilento region. We're enthusiastically returning, thanks in part to the constructive collaboration with Mayor Stefano Pisani. This has become a regular event, catering to those who enjoy meeting our producers and artisans every year. Bridging the gap is our mission; creating a climate of dialogue is essential to becoming informed consumers ," comments Giuseppe Lupo, president of Italia Eventi .
To the delight of families and children , Mauro Apicella's National Puppet Theatre will be performing every day, while jazz lovers have an appointment on Saturday 30 August, at 9.30pm, with the Puccio Chiariello Power Trio .
Products and crafts
At the Gusto Italia stop in Acciaroli, numerous producers and artisans will be offering their creations and specialties, including some Cilento classics.
From excellent organic honey to products from the Picentini Mountains, such as the Giffoni PGI hazelnut, spreads, and the beloved brittle made to order. Taralli are from Puglia, both sweet and savory, and the dried fruit is highly sought-after, colorful and healthy.
Irpinia offers excellent cured meats and cheeses, as well as saffron liqueur and fruit compotes. Calabria offers cured meats from the renowned Calabrian black pig, nduja, chili peppers, and licorice, also available in liqueur form. For those with a sweet tooth, the unmissable chocolate crepes and waffles.
The Neapolitan-made leather belts and bags are exquisite, as are the unmissable jewelry made from various materials and Pandora-style charms. The store also features artisanal Campanian ceramics and many customizable products, some of which are made on the spot: from bags and paintings to T-shirts and bibs.
