When it comes to humor, is there an insurmountable divide between the older and newer generations? Three young people agreed to watch sketches by comedians who made their parents laugh.
Is humor timeless? Three young people aged 22 to 24 agreed to test the jokes that made their parents laugh. Among the comedians we selected for them, they only know a few, including Coluche . But one of Raymond Devos's sketches makes them smile. "I appreciate it, I admire the way he handles words and the puns he makes," admits Shayan, a student.
On the other hand, Coluche leaves them cold. "I find mimicking someone drunk more embarrassing than actually funny," comments Fanny. Everyone senses a generational gap with the audience, which is fond of this type of joke. But surprise, Fernand Raynaud, unknown to the trio, ultimately wins the match. He even gets a few laughs. Fanny says she's won over by the "rehearsal comedy" side of his humor. A hit for the comedian.
