The hiking route to a natural pool with crystal-clear waterfalls in Teruel

With a myriad of beautiful landscapes, the province of Teruel is a natural gem to explore at any time of year. Just minutes from the town of Linares de Mora lies one of the most relaxing getaways in the area: Pozo Navarro.
Amidst tall pine forests, crystal-clear waters , fresh air, and abundant shade, it offers a peaceful space to disconnect from the hectic routine. Unlike other pools in Aragon, this one has an intimate atmosphere , as it's rarely crowded.
The best part is that you can explore its vast expanses along a beautiful 7-kilometer route that starts in Linares de Mora and ends at Pozo Navarro and its spectacular crystal-clear waters.
A tour marked by monumentsThe route leading to Pozo Navarro, in addition to allowing you to contemplate the purest nature , will also allow you to enjoy many points of interest along the way. Among the most notable are the Islamic bridge on the Camino de Alcalá; the fountain and chapel in honor of the Virgin of Loreto, dating from 1719; the Paulejas River; and the Arenal Farmhouse.
You'll also have the opportunity to see the Obrado pine , one of the most unique in Aragon, standing over 20 meters tall and with a trunk almost 2 meters in diameter. We conclude the tour at the Church of the Immaculate Conception , an architectural masterpiece built in the 18th century.
The trail is simple and begins at the fountain next to the Portal Bajo , which you cross to reach the Linares River via Empedrado Street. At this point, you'll pass the Loreto Chapel and fountain before continuing toward the Masía del Arenal . Once there, you'll cross a white sand path that leads to the pine trail.
A little further on, 3.4 kilometers from the start, we'll reach Pozo Navarro , nestled in the Sierra de Gúdar. If you go in the summer , you can even cool off with a dip in its crystal-clear waters. But if you're less adventurous, you can simply sit and contemplate the rushing waters and a couple of small but spectacular waterfalls. The return journey follows the same path as the start, except that to reach the town this time, you'll climb the Loreto Bridge and enter Linares through the Portal Alto .
