You Might Love or Loathe Miley Cyrus in the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 Campaign…

We genuinely don’t know where you’ve been if you weren’t aware that Glenn Martens was installed as the creative director of Maison Margiela. The Belgian designer (a graduate of Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Fine Arts) took over the reins from John Galliano, who parted ways with the Paris-based fashion house in December 2024. In July, Martens presented his highly anticipated debut collection during Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week – and the accompanying campaign has dropped. Martens ultimately secured none other than Miley Cyrus for the Maison Margiela Fall 2025 advertising campaign. The Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter is reunited with photographer Paolo Roversi for the occasion, posing within the famed Italian photographer’s studio throughout the portrait series.

“Y’all laughed at Arivenchy [Ariana Grande for Givenchy]. This one is way worse and even more random,” immediately critiqued perhydrol upon checking out the campaign.

“This forced attempt recently at making Miley Cyrus a fashion star is confusing and quite boring. I think these brands think it’s going to be some internet-breaking moment, and it never is. She cheapens everything for me,” called out forum member aa2005.

“Is she incapable of closing her mouth?” asked Simera.

Not everyone, however, was so disappointed. “I’ve become so tolerable toward Miley Cyrus over recent months, and don’t even know why. Perhaps it was after the Dolce & Gabbana campaign. I don’t mind the sight of this campaign – and I’m not even a Roversi fan,” confessed vogue28.

“This version of Miley Cyrus by Paolo Roversi, I really like. From the stunning colors and lighting to the fashion styling. This campaign is beautiful in more ways than one,” admired MModa.
