Mona Tougaard Hits the Streets of Paris in the Chanel Fall 2025 Campaign

The countdown for the highly anticipated debut of Matthieu Blazy as Chanel creative director is on. The Spring 2025 fashion shows are in full swing, with Blazy is scheduled to present his first collection on October 6 during Paris Fashion Week. Meanwhile, the powers that be at Chanel HQ continue to give us a sense of continuity – from collections to campaigns. The fabled French fashion house welcomes back Mikael Jansson as campaign photographer for the Fall 2025 season. Fresh from shooting the Pre-Fall 2025 campaign, the Swedish fashion photographer points his lens toward model Mona Tougaard for the Chanel Fall 2025 campaign. The Danish beauty and firm industry favorite hits the streets of Paris throughout the campaign imagery, dressed in the collection designed by the in-house design studio.

“This looks like one of those low-budget ‘shared content’ Vogue editorials,” critiqued tigerrouge upon first look at the campaign.
“What’s weird is that it looks like they closed the street for Mona to run around alone. Would be much better if there were peopke in the background,” noted Kite.
“It’s so sad to see where fashion is at the moment. This looks like AI made the campaign. So lifeless, uninspired, generic… lacks soul, charm, vision, and class,” Creative slated.
Also disapproving of the campaign was TianCouture. “The bar is in HELL. I cannot fathom that this is Chanel, nd I don’t think Blazy will be the improvement they think he is,” they voiced.
“Absolutely horrendous,” described vogue22, but do you agree?
