Kate Moss, Chloë Sevigny & Frankie Rayder Take Los Angeles in the Saint Laurent Fall 2025 Campaign

Since picking up from where Hedi Slimane left off in 2016, Anthony Vaccarello as creative director of Saint Laurent has called upon a rotation of his favorites for the brand’s advertising campaigns. Names like Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Rampling, Jerry Hall, Diana Ross, and Gwyneth Paltrow have starred in Saint Laurent campaigns over recent years – often on more than one occasion. Make no mistake that another one of Vaccarello’s firm favorites is Kate Moss, who returns as the face of Saint Laurent in the Fall 2025 campaign. The iconic Brit model is joined by Chloë Sevigny and fellow model Frankie Rayder for the occasion. The cool girls take Los Angeles throughout the storied “Velvet Heat” campaign imagery, captured around various different locations (like Room 49 of Chateau Marmont) by the photographer Mert Alas.

“It’s like asking AI to generate a fashion campaign with ‘cool’ people and places. No further specification as to how any of it might be related,” tigerrouge critiqued upon checking out the campaign.
“Could’ve done much more with these two,” added Squizree.
“Both of these women have been rinsed, used, and repeated as ‘cool’ so much in their lifetime. It has become embarrassing,” voiced forum member aa2005.
DK92 wasn’t best impressed either. “Not that I’m bothered by the result, but at this point I at least wanted something new,” they sighed.
“It’s the ultimate designer-wannabe Anthony working with the ultimate fashion photographer-wannabe Mert. The result is the ultimate wannabe campaign that pays tribute/honors/copies/rip offs greater fashion imagery we’ve all seen a million times before. What did anyone expect from these two?” asked Phuel.
