Christine McGuinness in legal battle with firm loved by Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber amid £300k divorce with Paddy

CHRISTINE McGuinness is facing more personal woes after being hit with a legal challenge to her dream of launching her own cosmetics range called Goddess.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire alum has filed papers with the Intellectual Property Office to trademark the term Goddess by Christine McGuinness.
But the ITVBe star, 37, has been clobbered by a dispute from a top US sportswear firm loved by A-listers like Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber.
Bosses at Alo Yoga, based in Los Angeles, have filed papers with the UK government department opposing the application.
The firm is reportedly worth $10 billion (£7.54bn).
The company already uses the term Goddess to flog a range of £58 tops and £118 leggings, and they want to prevent Christine from using the word to sell her goods.
Official papers reveal Christine, who is in the process of a divorce from comedian Paddy McGuinness and is "devastated" at the sale of their family home, wants to sell make-up, perfume, nail varnish, and other women's beauty products, plus sports bags.
The application is still being considered by lawyers at the government department, and they are yet to make a ruling on Alo’s opposition.
She recently junked her plans for a lifestyle empire after poor sales of her fitness range.
The reality TV star released a new activewear brand called VIBE By Christine in 2020.
And she planned to follow up the range with wellness products, work-outs and lifestyle tips and hints.
Yet the clobber – that included £50 sets of workout leggings and tops – failed to sell well.
And now she’s dissolved the firm set-up to take in cash from the clothes firm.
In her first collection, Christine had released a range that started from a size 6 and went up to a size 18.
The leggings featured a high waistline for tummy control and a scrunched backside.
The sets were said to be “comfortable enough for yoga and strong enough for the gym" and came in a range of colours.

Previously, taking to Instagram to promote the collection, Christine posted a snap of herself in a white crop top with co-ordinating grey and white leggings and her Instagram followers were quick to tell Christine that they loved the look of the gear.
The page amassed 16,000 followers but the last post on the platform came in December 2020 and documents show that the firm was later dissolved by bosses at Companies House.
It is a tough time for the mum of three away from business wrangles too.
Former couple Christine and Paddy announced their shock split in June 2022.
But they both remained living in the family home to co-parent twins Leo and Penelope and daughter Felicity.
Now it's been revealed Paddy, 51, has made the decision to sell their house.
And it's not something Christine wanted. She said: "I’m devastated about the sale.
"We don’t know how long it’s going to take... I can’t [move out]. It’s not an option for me. We both own the house."
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star recently admitted she's struggling with the £300,000 divorce bill she's facing.
She said: "I think people assume that if you're going through a divorce with someone who earns a hell of a lot of money, your legal fees will be covered, or they will cover the costs or something, but it doesn't work like that."
Last month The Sun revealed Christine has signed up for a huge reality show following her split from Paddy.
She is set to take part in the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating, which will be set in Ibiza.
