Armani White, the rapper known for his hit single “Billie Eilish,” was arrested on Sunday evening after allegedly filming a music video on a busy Kentucky interstate.
The incident, which drew multiple 911 calls from concerned passersby, led to his booking at the Laurel County Correctional Center on misdemeanor charges. The artist was reportedly in the middle of a performance tour at the time of his arrest.
Armani White faces charges of disorderly conduct and stopping on a limited-access highway. According to the London Police Department in Kentucky, the rapper was booked for disorderly conduct in the second degree and the traffic-related violation of stopping, standing, or parking on a limited-access highway.
Both offenses are misdemeanors. The arrest occurred after police responded to multiple 911 calls about a group of people creating a dangerous situation on Interstate 75 in Laurel County.

The arrest followed reports of the rapper dancing on a concrete barrier in active traffic. Police court documents state that officers found the 27-year-old, whose legal name is Enoch Tolbert, running across travel lanes and forcing cars to slow down.
Upon their arrival, he allegedly jumped onto the concrete median barrier and began dancing. Tolbert confirmed to police that he and his team had pulled over on I-75 specifically to shoot a video.

The rapper was released from jail and has a pretrial conference scheduled for later this month. After his arrest, White was booked into the Laurel County Correctional Center but has since been released.
While an initial arraignment was scheduled for Monday, court documents note that “the jail told him to call and schedule a court date” due to his profession as a touring musician. A pretrial conference is now set for later in October.
