A sock production workshop in Avcılar was engulfed in flames.

The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. on G642 Street in the Yeşilkent neighborhood of Avcılar for reasons yet unknown. The fire, which began in a sock production workshop on the ground floor of a four-story building, quickly spread when yarn caught fire. Numerous firefighters, paramedics, and police officers were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report. The flames quickly engulfed the workshop, partially spreading to the four-story building, while dense smoke engulfed an entire street. After approximately an hour of firefighting efforts, the flames were brought under control and quelled before they could spread to the building. The electricity supply to the electricity pole directly across from the house was cut off by the crews as a precaution.
After the fire was brought under control, crews began cooling down and removing smoke. No one was injured. Following the intervention, the workshop was completely unusable, and the building it was located in was partially damaged. After the fire was completely extinguished, crews left the scene. An investigation has been launched.
