The final excitement of the Electric Vehicle Races has begun at TEKNOFEST

This excitement, which began with Formula G in 2005, has gained significant momentum over the years. Today, the Efficiency Challenge is not just a race; it's also an international platform that pioneers the development of domestic technologies, prioritizes energy efficiency, and prepares young people for the mobility vision of the future .
Associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students from Turkey and abroad participated in the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races as teams. Students from high schools and equivalents in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus ( TRNC), as well as high school students from BİLSEM, Youth Centers, DENEYAP Technology Workshops, Science Centers, and Science Workshops in Turkey, applied as teams for the Inter-High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races. Following these applications, 53 teams (40 electromobiles and 13 hydromobiles) advanced to the finals from 433 teams in the international category . In the high school category , 25 teams from 411 qualified for the finals.
In total, over 4,400 students participated in this grand adventure to make their dreams a reality. The 78 teams and over 1,300 students competing in the finals designed and produced critical components, from battery management systems to motor drives, all of which they developed themselves.
The Efficiency Challenge rewards not only the fastest but also the most efficient, domestically produced, and innovative vehicles. In the International category, winners of both the Electromobile and Hydromobile subcategories receive 250,000 TL in prize money, while runners-up receive 200,000 TL in prize money, and third-place winners receive 150,000 TL.
