Jordanian army: "Israeli planes did not use our airspace"

The Jordanian army has denied claims on social media that Israeli aircraft crossed Jordanian airspace to target Qatar.

"The allegations circulating on some suspicious accounts that Israeli aircraft passed through Jordanian airspace today and struck targets in the sister state of Qatar are baseless and false," the statement, published on the army's website and cited a military source, said.

The statement also called on the public not to trust such news and rumours and to obtain information only from official sources.
