Israel hits Gaza hospital, killing 15 people, including 4 journalists

According to initial reports, 15 people, including four journalists, were killed and many others were injured in the Israeli army's airstrike on the 4th floor of Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip's Khan Younis city.
According to information received from local sources, the Israeli army carried out two separate airstrikes on the 4th floor of Nasser Hospital.
It was reported that the Israeli army first hit the fourth floor of the hospital, and the second attack was carried out while first aid teams were trying to remove the dead and injured.
4 JOURNALISTS LOST THEIR LIVES
The attack killed Reuters News Agency photojournalist Husam al-Masri, Qatar-based Al Jazeera television cameraman Mohamed Salame, Maryam Abu Dekka, a journalist for various media outlets including Independent Arabia and the AP, and Muaz Abu Taha, a journalist for the US-based NBC News.
Reuters cameraman Hatem Ömer, who was initially reported dead, was reported to be seriously injured.
The Palestinian Civil Defense Organization in Gaza announced that 11 Palestinians, including a firefighter, were killed in the attack.
It was reported that seven firefighters who tried to rescue the injured and remove the dead from the rubble were injured.
The number of journalists killed has risen to 244.
According to a statement from the Gaza Government's Media Office, the number of journalists killed by Israel has increased to 244 with this latest attack.
"Our journalist colleagues were martyred in the horrific crime committed by the Israeli occupation by bombing a group of journalists who were on a press mission at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis," the statement said.
The government's statement continued: "We hold the Israeli occupation, the American administration and the countries that participated in the crime of genocide, such as the United Kingdom, Germany and France, fully accountable for perpetrating these heinous and brutal crimes."
