House arrest for one person in death of two Dutch brothers

Two children from a family registered with Dutch passports were found dead in a hotel in Fatih. Istanbul Police Department teams are investigating the deaths of 15-year-old Muhabbet Yazdani and 17-year-old Muhammet Jamil Yusuf at a hotel in the Saraç İshak neighborhood on August 22.
Police investigation determined that the children became ill after eating with their father at two separate businesses on Istiklal Street in Beyoğlu on August 20. It was understood that the children remained ill at the hotel on August 21 and were found dead. The father, Rashid Mohammed Ajoeb, was hospitalized for suspected food poisoning.
HOUSE ARREST FOR ONE PERSON
Police detained EK, BK, AK, and TMÇ, the owners of businesses where the deceased children went for food and drink. The teams also sent samples taken from both businesses to the Forensic Medicine Institute. EK was placed under house arrest, while the other suspects were released on probation.
