Fire in Seferihisar: 7 Planes and 8 Helicopters Fight Flames

A fire that broke out in a forest in the Seferihisar district of Izmir is being brought under control with aerial and ground firefighting efforts. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but numerous teams have been dispatched to the area following a report.
The General Directorate of Forestry's air fleet is responding to the fire with seven aircraft and eight helicopters. The airborne sorties are being accompanied by 25 water trucks, two construction equipment, seven water supply vehicles, two bulldozers, and 182 personnel.
While firefighting planes and helicopters are making continuous sorties to try to prevent the flames from spreading, ground teams are working intensively to prevent the fire from spreading to residential areas.
The crews are working non-stop to prevent the flames from spreading due to wind.
