Vehicle crashes into truck and overturns: 2 injured

The accident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on the D-20 highway toward Çekmeköy on the Paşaköy road in the Sancaktepe district. Allegedly, a Seat car with license plate 34 BIY 606, driven by Seyde Okuyucu, rear-ended an Isuzu truck with license plate 55 VE 428, driven by Orhan Özdemir, which was making a turn at the intersection for an as-yet-unknown reason. The impact caused the car to overturn, injuring two people in the vehicle. Police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene upon receiving the report. The injured were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
