On Wednesday, October 8th, reports of the detention of prominent figures poured in. Allegations surfaced that 19 individuals, including İrem Derici , Birce Akalay, Mert Ramazan Demir, Hadise , and Simge Sağın, had been detained. It was announced that İrem Derici and some of her companions were not detained, but would be taken to a health center for blood samples.

In the operation carried out by teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command, celebrities including Dilan Polat , Engin Polat , İrem Derici, Kubilay Aka , Kaan Yıldırım, Hadise Açıkgöz, Berrak Tüzünataç , Duygu Özaslan Mutaf, Demet Evgar Babataş, Zeynep Meriç Aral Keskin, Özge Özpirinçci, Mert Yazıcıoğlu , Feyza Altun , Derin Talu, Deren Talu , Ziynet Sali, Birce Akalay, Metin Akdülger, and Ceren Moray Orcan were taken from their homes. They were taken to the Provincial Gendarmerie Command to give their statements and have blood samples taken. However, another situation regarding İrem Derici has come to light.
