The renowned actress produces commercials and films with her company. Last month, on July 31st, a devastating development occurred for Belçim Bilgin. She became one of the victims of the scam. The scammer, Mehmet A., called Belçim Bilgin's production company from a landline and began a conversation with Zeynep B. through the assistant on the other end of the line.

HE TOOK THE MONEY AND DISAPPEARED According to Sabah newspaper, the suspect, Mehmet A., who introduced himself under a different name, said he wanted to conduct PR campaigns to raise brand awareness for the company. Having gained trust, the scammer asked Zeynep B. to deposit the first payment of the annual fee, 80,000 TL, into her account. The assistant who sent the money to the account, Zeynep B., realized she had been scammed when she couldn't reach the suspect later and reported the situation to Belçim Bilgin. Actress Bilgin went to the prosecutor's office and filed a complaint against the suspect.

I WAS VICTIMIZED In her petition submitted to the prosecutor's office, Belçim Bilgin stated that she founded her production company in 2019 and was involved in advertising and film work. In her petition, she requested redress for her grievance, stating that the fraudster gained her trust and took 80,000 TL in one go, and that the contact number she provided could not be reached.
