The painkiller injection caused a disaster! He can't walk or stand...

Aytaç Öztürk, who works at a local newspaper in the city, went to Atatürk State Hospital Emergency Service on August 27th complaining of abdominal pain. Öztürk was discharged after receiving a painkiller injection in his left hip. Shortly thereafter, he experienced pain in his left leg. When the pain became unbearable, he was taken to Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEUN) Hospital by ambulance on August 31st. Unable to walk, Öztürk's edema-filled leg was placed in a cast. Diagnosed with "foot drop syndrome," Öztürk underwent 23 days of treatment at BEUN Hospital's Brain and Neurosurgery Service and was discharged. Öztürk, who was issued an incapacity report by October 24th, went to the prosecutor's office and filed a criminal complaint.
Aytaç Öztürk, who stated that he had been discharged from the hospital but was still undergoing treatment and had filed a criminal complaint to identify those responsible, said, "On the evening of August 28th, I went to Atatürk State Hospital complaining of abdominal pain. There, I was given a painkiller injection. However, no blood tests or X-rays were taken. They simply touched my abdomen, and the doctor said, 'I have gas pains,' and referred me for the injection. Two days after the injection, I started experiencing swelling in my foot. The pain was coming from my hip. I could barely put any weight on my foot. Naturally, they rushed me from home to Bülent Ecevit University Hospital by ambulance. I was hospitalized for 23 days and am currently incapacitated. I'm on sick leave until October 24th. A report was issued there. Of course, this reveals the consequences of the incorrectly administered injection. I went to the public prosecutor's office and filed a criminal complaint."
Öztürk said, "The report said 'foot drop' was the result of the wrong injection. Many people can develop 'foot drop' after receiving the injection. Time will tell whether mine is permanent or not. I'm currently hopping around, walking with the help of a cane."
The Provincial Health Directorate has launched an investigation into the matter. An investigator has been appointed to conduct the investigation. Authorities stated that necessary action will be taken based on the results of the investigation.
