Defining peer bullying, Türel said, “This phenomenon, defined as individuals in similar age groups engaging in deliberate, repetitive, and harmful behavior towards each other, can occur in different forms, such as physical (pushing, hitting, damaging property), verbal (naming, mocking, insulting), social (exclusion, spreading rumors), and cyber (sending threatening messages, sharing photos or videos).”
