Moscow Planetarium: Perseid Meteor Shower to Peak in August

Astrophysicists from the Moscow Planetarium have told us what astronomical events will be visible in August. One of these events will be the peak of the Perseid meteor shower.
The Perseids will peak on August 12, with an estimated 150 meteors per hour. They will be visible in any part of the sky. It is recommended to watch them from places away from city light pollution.
The Moscow Planetarium also reported that there will be a full moon on August 9 and that noctilucent clouds are expected in the twilight sky of northern latitudes throughout the month.
