A new CEO has been appointed at Doctor Nearby.

Since October 2024, Katrin Soomre has served as CEO of MK "Doctor Nearby." Under her leadership, the company developed online and hybrid healthcare projects, including a telemedicine service and AI products aimed at the insurance industry, private clinics, and the public sector. Soomre has now decided to focus on other projects.

Yuri Katsman graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University with a degree in economic cybernetics. He has over 25 years of professional experience in senior positions at business media outlets, including Kommersant, Vedomosti, and Sekret Firmy. In recent years, Katsman has been involved in the launch and development of projects in digital technology, AI, media, and entertainment.

Maxim Chernin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doctor Nearby Medical Center, explained that the appointment is part of the company's goal to reach a new stage of growth. Chernin believes that Yuri Katsman's experience managing large projects and working with digital technologies will enable the company to strengthen its leadership in medical technology and accelerate the implementation of innovations in healthcare.

Katzman himself emphasized that he views his new position as an opportunity to apply his experience to the development of a company operating at the intersection of healthcare and IT. He noted that these areas determine people's quality of life today, and the rapid advancement of technology, particularly AI, opens up great prospects for medicine.

Currently, over 5 million clients use MK "Doctor Nearby"'s digital services. The company develops AI products with medical expertise, collaborates with the government, private businesses, and insurance companies, and participates in the AI ​​Alliance.

According to SPARK-Interfax, MK's revenue in 2024 was 312.2 million rubles, with a loss of 18.6 million rubles. The company is part of the Doctor Nearby Holding Group, whose parent legal entity (Doctor Nearby Holding LLC) was registered in Moscow in December 2019. In 2024, this LLC's net profit was 65.3 million rubles, and its net assets exceeded 2.26 billion rubles.
