Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Roman Novak, who died in the United Arab Emirates, had significant financial liabilities in Russia. According to data from the Federal Bailiff Service, reviewed by RIA Novosti, the total amount of outstanding debts exceeds seven million rubles.
Nine enforcement proceedings were initiated against Novak. Six of them have already been dismissed due to the businessman's lack of assets subject to seizure.
Currently, bailiffs continue to collect funds from ongoing cases. The total amount of claims exceeds 6.9 million rubles, of which over 229,000 rubles is the enforcement fee. These cases involve recovering damages caused by criminal acts to individuals and legal entities.
It was previously reported that the dismembered crypto businessman asked for a loan of $400,000 before his death.
