Band officially announced, this Monday (August 11), the participants of the new season of MasterChef Celebridades, a special edition of the traditional culinary reality show. The program has its premiere confirmed for Monday (November 18), at a time not yet announced by the broadcaster.

The new season will feature a total of 12 contestants from different fields of culture, communication, and sports. They will compete for the trophy under the evaluation of the already renowned trio of judges, Erick Jacquin, Helena Rizzo, and Henrique Fogaça, who continue to lead the show.

This year's cast features a strong following. Confirmed appearances include singers Dodô (Pixote), Gilmelândia, Hugo Alves, and Tiago Piquilo (of the duo Hugo & Tiago), as well as funk singer Valesca Popozuda. Actors Leonardo Miggiorin, Luciano Szafir, and actress Julianne Trevisol are also participating in the drama segment. Journalist Rachel Sheherazade, athlete Maurren Maggi, TV host Márcia Goldschmidt, and influencer John Drops round out the lineup.

Filming is scheduled to begin this Thursday (August 14), as announced by the show's organizers. Thus, the production schedule is moving forward quickly with a view to the premiere scheduled for November.

The show's format will follow the franchise's established model, featuring traditional competitions like the MasterChef Auction, the Mystery Box, and the Wall Challenge, which require creativity and technical prowess from the contestants.
