MC Daniel rules out gospel career and talks about routine with the arrival of his son

MC Daniel is a renowned funk artist and recently surprised everyone by revealing that he would record a gospel song. An evangelical, the funk singer arrived at Luan Pereira's recording session in Maringá, Paraná, last week, listening to gospel music on a speaker , but he rules out pursuing a career in the religious world.

"At the moment, no. I'm focused on working on my label, on the new aesthetic of my DVD, focusing on continuing to release funk, trap, sertanejo and making other partnerships with other artists", says Daniel.

However, he does not rule out the possibility of working on gospel projects in the future. "Who knows, maybe later in God's plans," he says.

Father of Ras

MC Daniel always dreamed of being a father and witnessed the birth of his first son, Rás , the result of his relationship with influencer Lorena Maria, in February of this year. With a four-month-old baby at home, the funk singer regrets having to be away from his son because of his busy schedule of shows.

"It's a painful process, but necessary. I'm here for his own good, to guarantee his future and to make sure he doesn't lack anything," he says.

MC says he enjoys all aspects of being a father, except for missing him, and comments on how he and Lorena divide their time to take care of their son. "It's back and forth. When she goes to take a bath, I stay with him. When she wants to eat, I breastfeed him. We help each other out," he says.
