Gato Preto becomes defendant for domestic violence after attacking Bia Miranda

Digital influencer Samuel Sant'Anna, known as Gato Preto, became a defendant for domestic violence after the court accepted the complaint filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office. He is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend, fellow influencer Bia Miranda , on June 11th.

Judge Fabio Calheiros do Nascimento, of the 2nd Criminal Court, received the complaint last Thursday, 21st. The magistrate justified the decision because the report from the Legal Medical Institute (IML) found that Bia suffered minor injuries in the cervical region, on the right side of her face and in other parts of her body.

The alleged assault took place on June 11th at a hotel in Alphaville, an upscale area of ​​Greater São Paulo. After drinking alcohol, the two allegedly had an argument over jealousy, and Gato Preto allegedly assaulted Bia at that moment.

The digital influencer told police that Gato Preto punched her in the face, grabbed her by the neck, forced her to the ground, and then kicked her in the ribs. Hotel employees reported parts of the argument and heard the influencer screaming.

Gato Preto's lawyers told Fantástico that they are working to prove their client's innocence. Terra contacted the influencer's defense but received no response. Bia Miranda's defense stated that the investigation is the responsibility of the appropriate authorities.

On August 20th, one day before the complaint was filed, Gato Preto and Bia Miranda were involved in a traffic accident in São Paulo. The influencer allegedly crashed his Porsche into another vehicle and a pole. He was detained and released after undergoing medical examinations at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office . The case was registered as negligent bodily injury while driving a vehicle, drunk driving, fleeing the scene, and tampering with the accident.
