Corinthians goalkeeper Hugo Souza, 26, shared a romantic moment this week when he proposed to his girlfriend, Rauany Barcellos. The 22-year-old digital influencer shared the news with her followers on Monday, the 25th, revealing the surprise the athlete had prepared.

In a hotel room decorated with rose petals, red heart-shaped balloons, and a bed covered in bouquets of flowers, Hugo wrote the phrase "marry me" with white roses. "The beginning of all forever," the influencer wrote on her social media.

The couple's relationship became public in March of this year, shortly after Hugo won the Campeonato Paulista title with Corinthians. Since then, they've been seen together at events and on social media. In August, Rauany shared that she suffered a miscarriage with the twins she was expecting with the goalkeeper.
