Husband of woman caught at Coldplay concert was also with lover

The embarrassing story that went viral on social media after Astronomer's former CEO, Andy Byron, appeared on the "kiss cam" with Kristin Cabot, the company's former HR chief and his alleged lover, during a Coldplay concert in Boston, gained a new chapter this Wednesday (24).

According to the British Times, Cabot's husband, Andrew, was also at the same event, including in the company of his lover.

Despite the rumors, a source cited by the publication stated that the two, in fact, "had been separated for several weeks" and maintained a "friendly relationship."

The report also indicates that Kristin and Andrew had already been living separately in different residences for a few weeks, although the divorce was not yet public.

"Kristin was in the box with coworkers, and Andrew was also there with a date, who is now his girlfriend," a source told the British newspaper.

Furthermore, the person explained that Kristin had not shied away from the camera to hide from her husband, but rather because of what appeared to be inappropriate behavior with her then-boss.

"Kristin and Andy had an excellent working relationship and a great friendship. There was no affair," the unidentified person said. "It was inappropriate to hug her boss at a concert, and she takes full responsibility for that. But the scandal, the fallout, the loss of her job—all of it is unfair."

Finally, the person revealed that Kristin received around 900 death threats on her cell phone after the video went viral.

Furthermore, people began taking pictures and mocking her on the street. "These are real people and families. It's hard to see how people could have so much fun at their expense," she concluded.
